The Holy Week

Greetings to everyone!

The St. James the Less Parish will be holding a Palm Sunday celebration live online. Log in to our website at , our live liturgical celebration will be posted there. The live Masses schedule is the same in our regular schedule. I would like to request that in you home altar you put the palm leaves, if you have, to be blest during the Mass. There will be no distribution of blest palm leaves from the Church.

I would like to suggest also that during the Last Supper Mass on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. (bilingual Mass), the head of the Family will pledge to the members of his family / household that as a father or mother, he/she will do his role as the head of the family, to serve and protect everyone in the family. During the washing of the feet if it is possible, he/she will wash the feet of the members of his/her household as a symbol of humility in serving his/her family. Family is a domestic Church. That is where our faith begun and flourished. Service begins at home. (Note: please do not invite other people from outside your household in order to maintain safe distancing. You can do that only to those who are in quarantine at home with you. This is also to remind your wife and children that you are the leader of faith in your household as the domestic Church.)

After the Last Supper Mass on Thursday, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed until 12 noon of Good Friday. Fr. Jun and I will do the online reflection of the 7 Last Words at 12 noon on Good Friday to be followed by the Veneration of the Cross at 3 p.m., the time of Crucifixion and death of our Lord, Jesus Christ. In your home you can venerate the Cross by bowing to it (NOT KISSING THE CROSS).

On Saturday, April 11, the Easter Vigil Mass, Blessing of water and fire, will be done at 10:00 p.m. There will be NO MASS at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

On Easter Sunday will be our regular Sunday Mass hour.

Please be reminded that Confession & Absolution can not be online. Spiritual Consultations and Counseling can be done online through messenger, line

telephone, or any internet platforms of communication. Just send message to me through text, messenger (Loyd Napier), etc. and I will get back you to as soon as I can.

If you want to connect to me through LINE use the QR Code below.

Thank you and keep safe!
